At a nascent age of 20 years, she committed suicide on the set of television serial “ALI BABA: DASTAAN – E – KABUL” in the lady’s washroom at Maharastra’s Palghar.
Her co star and lover Sheezan Mohammad Khan arrested by police after her mother filed a case against him.
According to the police and co-stars, Tunisha had lunch with Khan at the studio and later locked herself in the make-up room. The crew members knocked on the door of the make-up room but she did not open the door. Crew members then broke open the door and found her hanging from the ceiling.
Dr. Honey Mittal of the F&B Hospital in his statement told that on Saturday evening, about 3-4 people arrived at the hospital with Tunisha Sharma. Her co-actor Sheezan Khan was also with them and he told him to save her anyhow. He was crying continuously.
Tunisha was brought dead at the hospital confirmed by Dr. Honey to the police.
Sheezan M Khan and Tunisha Sharma broke up in November 2022, leading Sharma to fall into depression.
Also her mother said that Sheezan provoked her to commit suicide. They had an affair, but he denied marrying her, which is why she was in depression. He (Sheezan) admitted that they were in a relationship. They had a breakup in November, but they continued working on the set.”
