If someone make some type of illicit/illegal romantic friendship or sexual relationship external to married life is called as Extra marital affair.
Reasons of getting into Extra Marital Affairs:
- Forceful Arranged marriage:
If someone’s marriage arranged on the basis of their parents consent and choice without taking his or her consent or choice is one of the main reasons of having extra marital affair.
Whole life he or she cannot justify his or her true love with their partner, they only carry-on social responsibilities.
- Love Marriage:
Not all love marriages are successful, in most of the cases both the partners doubt on each other and think that whether his or her partner is cheating, and start of extra marital affair.
- Meet with Ex:
Everything is going well in the married life, suddenly one’s Ex-boyfriend or Ex-Girlfriend comes into life, then he or she will attract toward him or her and start of extra marital affairs.

If satisfaction level is low in someone’s sexual life, then he or she will search sexual satisfaction outside, maybe in colleague, neighbour or close friends etc. and start of extra marital affair.
- Lack of Love:
