Goes back in the history their were two Christians martyrs one is saint valentine of Rome and other is Valentine of Terni.
Valentine of Rome is executed in 269 AD , for charges that he arranged marriage of the Roman empire soldiers, for them it was crime, as making love and tie a nuptial knot is prohibited for soldiers. During his exile period , he healed the jailor’s daughter and sent her a letter signed ” Your Valentine”.
In modern world , love birds and couple show their love by gifting and sending valentine cards to each other . This day is a best for propose to his or her boyfriend or girlfriend.
In 1868 , the British chocolate company Cadbury created fancy boxes , decorated box of chocolates in shape of a heart for Valentine day. From that day gifting heart shaped chocolate box in trend and each aspiring beau gift to their beau as a token of love. Cadbury famous slogan describes it well – “How far you will go for love”. Cadbury gives heavy discounts during valentine day on their products.
